ntroducing Mochi! This sweeter than dessert pretty young lady came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after being found abandoned in a sweltering apartment building, severely emaciated with a body score of 1/9. We are not quite sure how she survived- as an adult pittie, Mochi should weigh about 50 pounds at a healthy weight; she was 26 pounds. Many thanks to our amazing fosters Steve and Robin, and now Noah, for giving this very special girl a safe and warm space to get healthy and soak in all the love she was so desperately lacking. True to her namesake, Mochi is absolutely delectable. She wants nothing more than to love with her whole heart and to be loved back; rest assured; she will never ever know what it is to be unloved again in her life. Mochi is the ultimate house hippo, she happily rests at her foster’s feet or quietly in her crate while he works from home. While quiet and snuggly in the home, she is a young dog and does enjoy long walks and a good run around the yard. Another favorite of hers is chomping on a good bully stick. Mochi’s favorite way to show her love is with perfect little pittie kisses. On this little lady’s wish list for her forever family is a nice warm bed at night to snuggle up with her humans- she’s a grade-A cuddle bug!
