Hold onto your hats for this one folks, she’s a doozy! Introducing Hilda! Nope, you’re not hallucinating and no, you don’t need new glasses   This adorable pittie in disguise, aka shih tzu, came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after her owner was no longer able to care for her. Hilda is the type of dog who’s just magnetic, so much so that when we saw those big Ewok eyes in her kennel and her sweet little smile with her itty-bitty pink tongue, we just knew we had to get her out of the shelter. Big thank you to our incredible fosters Karyn, Mary, and Sandra for breaking the mold and giving this peanut a soft place to land. Hilda is every bit as sweet as she is adorable! She loves to bunny hop around the back yard and play with her teeny tiny little toys. Hilda is a perfect velvet hippo, errr Pygmy velvet hippo? She’s got house training down to a science and walks like a dream on her little leash. Have we mentioned that she’s tiny?   She’s happy to share her space with canine and feline siblings alike.
