Meet Savannah! This doe eyed beauty came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after being found as a stray in terrible condition. Huge thank you to fosters Alice and family for temporarily housing this girl until foster mom Corinne and family were available to give her a safe and loving place to land. She came to us extremely underweight and with body sores and urine-stained paws that indicate a life of severe neglect. Despite all she has been through in her short life, Savannah is showing herself to be an all around love bug! When she isn’t contentedly chewing her favorite Benebone, she can be found snuggling her people, nuzzling their hand with her nose to ensure extra pats  . Savannah is perfectly polite, never attempting to steal the resident pups' toys, happy to go and find her own. She would do amazing in a home in which the resident dog was happy to coexist- Savannah hasn’t quite figured out what play is yet but we’re sure with time and continued love she will learn. She is working hard on her potty-training skills and is eager to please her people- boy, will this little lady work for treats! Savannah loves her two-legged siblings and would do great in a home with dog savvy children.
