Meet little Miss Olive also known as "Ollie Girl" by her loving foster family! She had a very tough start to life. We believe she suffered abuse at the hands of very cruel people. We are determined to give her a future that will be the safest and happiest, where she will be showered with love, and become her most confident self! At home, Olive loves to be by her foster mom's side, but her human foster siblings ( children aging from 10 to 16), or Grammy will do too. Really, she just wants to feel loved and safe. Ollie likes to play fetch with her rope toy, but gets tuckered out quickly. Snuggling is her favorite past-time. Ollie does have a 4-legged foster sister, PittieLove Rescue Alum, Peanut. The two cohabitant well. Since being at home, Olive has been weary of strangers, men in particular. It takes her a bit to warm up to people when they visit at her foster home. On a walk she needs to be slowly approached. We are working building her confidence. Knowing sweet Olive, we believe with a patient person, someone willing to give her slow introductions to new people/situations, and a lot of positive social experiences, she will turn the corner and begin to trust people again. She really has had a tough start to life.
