Meet little miss Bunny, our bull doggie mix! Some of you may recognize this cutie from our social media. Bunny was picked up as a stray from our friends at Boston Animal Control. When Bunny was picked up, she needed immediate medical attention. This poor girl had a foreign body and suspected pyometra. The medical team at MSPCA-Angell worked quickly and took great care of Bunny! PittieLove Rescue was contacted and we quickly found this sweet girl a foster home. Thank you to both Kristine & Michelle for helping this sweet girl on her road to recovery – and to Michelle D. for bringing her to her emergency temporary foster, Jihan. We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to all of those that made donations to aid in Bunny’s healthcare. We couldn’t have done it without you!

In foster care this, 3 year old 44 pound low rider, is soaking up all the love she’s been needing.  Bunny was shy at first which is understandable given her ordeal. After some good healing  R & R, Bunny has had time to bounce back!  This little lady is showing her lovey personality and enjoys running around and playing in the yard. She likes to chase after a tennis ball if it is rolled for her on the ground. Bouncing the ball indoors seemed to startle her. Bunny is calm inside the house and likes to snuggle up in a nice cozy bed or by your side. Bunny is not picky about her treats! She likes a good snack. Bunny is hesitant at first when meeting new people and dogs, but quickly warms up and is happy to make new friends.  She would do best with kids over 10. 

A village it took- but we are so happy to have helped our little bunny rabbit find a safe warm place to rest with Michelle and Tom until her forever home is found!
