Meet Margo!  This beaut of a bully came to us from local animal control after being surrendered by an owner who wasn’t taking very good care of her. Margo is a low ridin’ legend who led a fairly sheltered life in a house with many other dogs, crated much of the time…but she is full of LOVE and isn’t afraid to show it. Physical touch is most definitely her love language! She’s a velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be close to her humans to show her undying affection at all times.

Margo is, well, magnificent! She’s a terrific nugget of a little creature who likes an audience at mealtimes, grazes on frozen ice as if it’s a rare delicacy, and grunts like a pot-bellied pig. Oh, the sounds! Margo is a smart cookie who is eager to please and enjoys casual walks (with a loose leash, to boot). She is taking her New Year’s resolutions seriously and has recently dropped a few LBS, searching for a sliver of svelte-ness, which may never be possible.

We believe Margo needs a pampered life – she certainly deserves it. We think her perfect family would work from home to have plenty of time to shower her with love and cuddles. Snuggling up together on the couch and spooning in bed at night are required for this super social lady. Though dog-friendly, Margo is much more a co-exister with resident dogs instead of a BFF. Because of her sheltered past, Margo is cautious meeting new people, so older kids would be best for this ear-nibbling wiggle worm.

Margo is currently on a medical hold, awaiting entropion surgery for both of her eyes, which will make her much more comfortable.
