Meet Coco! This friendly, sweet, gentle, and snuggly little lady came to us from local animal control after being surrendered by an owner couldn’t take care of her. Our favorite thing about Coco is that she loves to love and loves to be loved!!! Her one and only life goal is to just be with her humans and give and receive affection. Coco is playful, active, and lazy all rolled into one – she will gladly match your energy as long as she can be part of the action. She will calmly place her soft paws on her human to say hello and solicit attention and never misses an opportunity to wear her affectionate heart on her sleeve.
Coco reminds us that all dogs are special, with their unique personalities and wonderful quirks. She likes drinking water while getting a bath, playing hide and seek with her humans, and fuzzy dog toys (and she doesn’t even destroy them!). She watches TV (and even her own shadow) with an adorable head tilt, readily taking in all that life has to offer. Coco still has a bit of bouncy puppy in her, zooming and playing in an age-appropriate fashion. She is a silly girl who hops like a bunny and appears to suspend herself mid-air before landing not-so-gracefully on the couch or bed. She is endearingly clumsy at times as she grows into her petite frame with a puppylike gawkiness. We think her perfect family would be die-hard snugglers looking for love and eager to soak in Coco’s undying devotion. She is a dog who thrives on being close, so quality couch-time and snuggling in bed at night are a must. Through no fault of her own, Coco has been bouncing through multiple homes, so the next stop needs to be her last and forever. Due to Coco’s lack of history, older kids would be best for this special youngster.
