Meet Chowda! This 10-month old nugget of creamy and affectionate goodness came to us from our friends at local animal control after being found as a stray. Based on his physical condition, it’s obvious someone wasn’t taking care of this soft and affectionate pup. But Chowda lives in the moment. He reminds us that when you hold onto a story that doesn’t serve you, you leave no space to write a new one that does. And Chowda is more than ready to write his own happy ending!

Chowda came into animal control extremely underweight, but he has steadily been gaining weight and receiving so much love (and snuggles galore!). Whenever we see the worst in mankind, we often see the best, and this instance is no exception. We’re so thankful for Chowda’s foster mom for fostering this amazing young man, knowing how much he needed a soft place to land. She has done more for him than she will ever know by opening her heart and home. In fact, while she has been nurturing this little guy back to health, she happened to fall in love and we are thrilled to report that Chowda is officially adoption pending! We’re thrilled to make Chowda’s adoption official in the coming weeks and can’t wait to see updates of this little man becoming as rich and thick as his name implies.
