Meet Lola! Lola came to us from a local shelter after her owner could no longer care for her and is a crazy awesome dog! She has sweetness to spare, is a complete love bug, and her tail never stops wagging. She loves everything and everyone and her number one mission in life is to be your best friend. Lola is a velcro dog and guaranteed shadow, giving kisses at every opportunity, so we know she would thrive in a home where spending lots of time with her humans was a given.
Lola has the most adorable quirks…she snorts and grunts like a little piglet, is an extreme butt wiggler, has a striking blue eye, and one of her ears sticks straight up when she is interested in something. This energetic gal is active and playful and if it were up to her, would go on walks non-stop. She loves the outdoors and will nose at her harness and leash or run to the door when you walk near it. #subtle And we suspect she was an Olympic high jumper in a previous life…she has already cleared a 3-foot baby gate without a running start. She also likes jumping from couch to couch to stay close to her people and showcase her athletic prowess. #knowswhatshewants She is great at appropriate play and also likes squeaky toys that also crinkle. #superspecific
Lola is completely housebroken (no accidents!) and is good in the car – she hops right in for whatever adventure rolls her way. Lola is respectful of the cats in her foster home. We think she’d love a home where someone is around to love on most of the time, and where snuggle sessions on the couch and in bed happen every day. We don’t think Lola has ever met a stranger, but once the initial excitement wears off she can be a bit timid. She warms up quickly to people, but remains nervous about her environment a little longer. Her perfect family would introduce new situations slowly and give her time to warm up. Lola is also not a fan of the crate. She is much calmer having more freedom to walk around the house and will bark if you confine her. And while Lola completely ignores some cats, and looooves playdates with canine friends, we believe she would be happiest as a singleton, soaking up all your attention.
We know Lola will make one lucky family very happy. Due to her size and a lack of history, older kids would be best for this sweet and gentle stunner.
