Meet Blanche, one of our Golden Girls puppies! These amazing pups were born into our rescue days after Betty White’s birthday. Based on the timing, and the real Betty White’s love for animals, we had to affectionately name mama dog after the great Betty White. And so the Golden Girls litter was born on January 21, 2022 after a C-section and one loooong night. Blanche is a confident young lady; she is usually first in line for treats and leads the walks with her canine foster siblings. She is super cuddly when she gets tired, loves toys, and has already added medium to large sized nylabones to her Amazon Wishlist. Blanche has a big personality and a very cool half blue/half brown eye. She has a mix of light brown, black, and grey colors on her ear and tail. And she is always ready to jump into the next fun activity. Blanche is confident around the big dogs and engages well in play. She has found her foster kitty sibling very interesting and becomes overly focused on him, so she has definitely said “no thanks” to kitties in her forever home Blanche is extremely food motivated and getting the hang of basic commands (we’d consider her an amateur professional with the “sit” command). She is crate trained and sleeps through the whole night with no accidents. She is a relativity vocal pup and has most definitely found her voice! And she loves, loves, loves human attention and wants to be part of the action at all times. Puppies are soooooo cute, and puppy breath is THE BEST! But puppies are a lot of work and take dedication, patience, love, training, and real commitment to turn them into amazing adults.
