It is the easiest way to start the communication and adoption process.

Meet Banana! This 5-years young petite and plantain-inspired gal came to us from local animal control after she was found with 6 other dogs in a UHaul, clearly used for breeding many times. Banana has a fruity sweetness to her and desperately seems to want to connect with people. It’s as if she is completely out of practice because she hasn’t had anyone pay attention to her, ever. Everything in a home and on walks seems new to her, but she understands the good life now and she is gaining confidence every day. It’s a joy to watch her come out of her shell. She has gained a lot more confidence now and has an almost puppy-like energy now that she has settled into a home. Banana is ap-peelingly mild mannered. She likes to go in the yard or take a short walk, but she’s not going to run a 5K anytime soon. Banana loves, loves, loves attention and affection (a bunch!) and will attempt to snuggle right into your lap. She is bananas for all the people she has met and likes to lean in/fall into you with her full body for optimal pets. We think this sweet slice of banana bread would love a confident and playful doggie companion, appreciating a buddy to show her the ropes. She doesn’t seem to really know much about playing, but she’s getting a little more outgoing every day and has enjoyed doggie play dates. We also think Banana would love a fenced in yard, as she gets a little nervous on walks and prefers to do her business in a quiet spot. You will seriously go ape for this sweet beauty! Because of her lack of history, older kids would be best for this attention-seeking banana cream pie.
