This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home. This little piggy is Wilburrrr! Meet adoptable Wilbur, a playful and spirited 1-year old who came to us from local animal control after being found as a stray. Wilbur is Adorable with a capital A. He takes treats with soft lips…at least the ones he’s interested in since he’s not super food motivated (unlike any super pig we’ve met). And that nose! This pink-nosed piglet’s beak is adorably spotted and used frequently to sniff out all the important info on neighborhood walks. We almost expected him to oink, snort, or grunt his way into our hearts, but he is much too gentlemanly for that. Wilbur has a respectable set of manners, but could use a little more training and consistency to solidify good habits. He’s got energy and spunk to spare, appropriately consistent with his young age, yet also loves splooting on the kitchen floor. Wilbur does awesome on leash while walking with his pittie foster sister and lets his foster family know if he needs to go out by pawing the door. In fact, he loves playing with his foster sister so much that she sometimes has to tap out from all the fun. J Wilbur settles on car rides, but then he thinks he’s missing something so has to get up to look out the window…we think it’s FOMO. Wilbur is a lighthearted piggly wiggly and he can’t wait to find his forever family. Due to his size and lack of history, older kids would be best for this boyish buttercup.
