Meet Peaches! This 3-year old bully came to us from local animal control after being found tied to a pole down the street from their facility. Peaches was found with Pear, and we believe they are mother (Pear) and daughter (Peaches). When found, Peaches had broken out of her harness, but refused to leave Pears side. It’s obvious both dogs have been bred. Because they rely heavily on each other and become stressed when the other is not around, PittieLove Rescue, Inc. is looking to place Peaches and Pear together. Though we typically do not place females together, we always make exceptions in the best interest of the dogs. Anyone who met this bonded pair would agree this is one of those cases. Baby Peaches is the more energetic of the two and always has a huge smile to show how happy she is. She likes to play games and rough house with Pear, gets the zoomies when she sees a wide open space, and likes to chew on toys without destroying them. Despite her obvious happiness, she is skittish about certain things (like a mop or unexpected fast movement), but has settled quickly into a consistent routine at her foster home and simply needs a patient and loving home that will let her acclimate at her own pace. She has loads more confidence when Pear is around! Like her mother, it doesn’t appear anyone took the time to teach commands, but she is already responding the basics. Peaches is the cutest pirate around with her peaches and cream eye patch (ahoy matey!). Like her mom, she’s is a big lover and absolutely loves to snuggle, burrowing her head into your body when you're lounging with her on the couch. She craves attention and affection and has no problem pushing your hands up with her head to steal a morsel of lovin' for herself. Both Peaches and Pear have tested well with cats and dogs. Due to their unknown history, older kids would be best for these little ladies.
