Meet Zelda! This 7-month old floppy and playful puppy came to us after being found as a stray. Zelda is charmingly puppy-like in all that she does and is always up for adventure. She enjoys being close to her humans – on the couch, in the yard, and as an adorable co-pilot in the front seat on rides. In fact, Zelda is a New Englander at heart and loves frolicking in the snow…a snow bunny who also loves toys and chewing on nylabones. And her mischievous side loves stealing things that aren’t hers. Zelda knows basic commands, walks well on leash, and is easy at bath time. She is working on basic manners (like puppy mouthiness and jumping) and is picking up housetraining like a champ. She is an eager beaver when it comes to pleasing her humans and indiscriminately affectionate with those she holds dear. Zelda is working on her doggie manners when playing with her canine foster brother. She plays rough, and is very vocal, so we think she would be most successful as the only dog in the house, with supervised doggie playdates. Her best canine friends would be tolerant and able to correct her when they had enough. And she’s a little too interested in kitties to live with one. This lanky lady will make someone a terrific friend! Because of her mouthiness and lack of history, older kids would be best for this little one.
