Beam me up… Meet Scottie! This adorable 9-year old gentleman came to us after his owner could no longer take care of him. We are still scratching our heads as to how someone could give up on this unbelievably sweet and sensitive spirit. Scottie is a wiggly and waggy bloke, who is incredibly gentle and affectionate. His hobbies? Snuggling, cuddling, nestling, and nuzzling. This friendly pup just wants to love and be loved. Scottie is a mature land seal, but doesn’t quite qualify for the senior discount. Adult dogs are THE BEST to adopt! His personality is awesome and well developed, so you know exactly what you’re getting. He is housetrained, isn’t destructive, and stares at you with the most grateful eyes. He is more than content to curl up on the couch while you Zoom with your boss or watch a marathon of The Crowne. Scottie gets a little nervous about loud city noises (like a car backfiring), but is easy going about almost everything else, including seeing animals outside. We think he would do best in a suburban or rural setting. Scottie has also tested well with dogs, cats, and chickens and is calm and gentle, even with 4-legged friends. Due to size and lack of history, older kids would be best for this big boy.
