It is the easiest way to start the communication and adoption process. Hi friends! My name is Bagel. I am a big pup with an even bigger heart and I have so much to offer my new family. I entered my foster home when I was a just a wee 8 week old puppy, and since that time I have had some behavior challenges. I’m fully housetrained, crate trained and I understand lots of basic training commands. Learning all that was a breeze for me because I am super smart. What was a bit more challenging for me was learning that I could completely trust the humans taking care of me. Since Day 1, my foster mom has been 100% committed to creating only positive associations with all humans and making me feel comfortable with human contact. Because of all the hard work and dedication from my foster parents and the rescue, I am now ready to find a home of my own. My ideal day would include a long walk, engaging in some fun training exercises with you, chewing on and burying my bully sticks, taking a couple of naps and romping in the yard with another dog. My adopters must have a history of dog ownership and lots of experience training dogs. You must be absolutely committed to only using positive training methods with me and continuing to build on the skills I have learned. The payoff for this commitment will be 100% worth it because you will get to experience all the unconditional love I have to give and see how truly gentle and sweet I am! And if you have another well behaved dog at home, even better! A well behaved dog can also help teach me to be the best dog I can possibly be!
