An update from Snickers foster parents: Snickers has a wonderful, happy-go-lucky personality. I honestly don't think I've ever met a friendlier dog - and this friendliness includes both canine and human. He really likes to demonstrate his friendliness to humans by face-licking, leaning against your legs, or if you're sitting on a couch, sprawling across your lap. He's a young, energetic dog so he'd really like his owners to be active and to have a place for him to run and play safely every day. He also LOVES to go on hikes in the woods - he bounds around like a deer. He really likes other dogs so we think he'd do well with an equally energetic, young doggy companion. He does like to chase our cats, but only because he thinks it's great fun, and he will cease and desist if the cats swat at him. So there's our wonderful Snickers in a nutshell. He will make a wonderful companion for the right people! Meet Snickers!! This boy is so perfect he is hard to describe! He has to have the most beautiful big head and beautiful eyes that I have ever seen! His loving personality just warms your heart. He is dog and cat friendly thus far, walks like a charm on leash. Behaves so well in the house. Is crate trained, housetrained, never barks. He has had some obedience training. Knows sit and give paw. He ended up at a shelter due to a divorce situation. He is now in a foster home with his foster Mom and Dad and a another pit bull. They are all doing great. Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks. Will only adopt as an only dog or with a compatible female. Please Apply Online Adoption Fee: $200.00. Includes spay/neuter and all vaccinations.
