My name is Ella and my foster mom says I am just adorable! I have some of the biggest ears you might have ever seen, and a lot of people think I look like an overgrown Chihuahua. I am approx 6-8 months old and we believe that I am mixed with a Whippet. I only weigh 31 lbs! I am quite sweet, and cuddly and pretty much a lap dog. I love to snuggle with people but I especially love lying on my foster brother(even when he doesn't really want me to). I sometimes like to snuggle with the kitties, but they don't like it when I squish them either. Go figure! I love to hang out on the human bed, but I also like to be in my crate. That might sound funny since I spent sometimes three weeks at a time in one, but theres something about that warm plastic cave that makes me feel a little safe. I have never had a real dog's life where I got to go to the park, or play with toys, so all of those things are new to me, but very exciting nonetheless. I like squeaky toys and will chase them and run in circles all around real proud until I hear "leave it" and then I will let you have it to throw it again. I go to playgroup twice a week with a bunch of doggie friends. I watch all the dogs run and play and am slowly figuring out that its pretty fun to do that too. I am pretty much housebroken and have had no accidents in my foster mom's house but she keeps a pretty good eye on me and when I get antsy she takes me out and I go potty like a good girl. I will sit when you ask, and I will take treats gently. I would like to think that there is a family waiting just for me so won't you renew my faith in people and adopt me forever?
