Meet Charlie! Very sweet and mellow, Charlie is a gorgeous boy! He was found abandoned in a MA city one snowy night when he came bounding over to play with some dogs and their owners. No one claimed this beautiful boy!! We suspect he was just jumped...:( Everyone loves him right away, and he’s playful and very gentle with every dog he encounters. Charlie loves lounging around with his foster mom. Mr. Charlie is stunning, with a beautiful, sweet and very expressive face and eyes and a shiny Blue Fawn coat. He even has a few light patches of brindle, and in the sun his smooth and soft coat appears almost iridescent! Speaking of smooth and soft, Charlie’s foster mom says that the fur on his face is so soft that it feels like velvet! He also has an adorable white patch coming up from his tummy (which he shows off when he lies back for his tummy to be rubbed) and little dollops of white on his paws. While Charlie is a beautiful boy in appearance, this beauty is only exceeded by his affectionate and sweet disposition and gentle soul. He is careful to take treats (and toys) from humans very gently, and he is highly intelligent. Charlie loves pleasing his people and is very obedient. He knows “sit down” and “come” and is a gentleman in his demeanor with people. He also walks very well on a leash (responding to “heel”) and even drops his Kong Wubba when told to do so! Charlie is quite the cuddlebug and loves to find warm little nooks to rest his head. He is 100% house trained – he has never had an accident in his foster home (even that first night when everything was so new to him!). Mr. Charlie is a wonderful and laid-back companion, a joy to have around. Please consider meeting this wonderful boy and giving him his forever home! Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks. Will only adopt as an only dog or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex. Please Apply Online Adoption Fee: $300.00.
