Meet little Elsa...Dumped like a piece of trash in MA city. We suspect that this was done because she has a skin condition and maybe her family could not afford the treatment for her? We cannot imagine that anyone would do this to this very sweet pup! But times are tough..She was at Animal Control and had 10 days to be claimed.. If not she would have been put to sleep. We were contacted by a wonderful organization that we work with, "PILOT" of MA and her case worker, Rosemary. When we saw her plea for help and her photos, we had to help this sweet baby girl. Here is what her foster mom has to say! Howdy friends, my name is Elsa! Boy am I one happy go lucky go girl! My foster mom keeps telling me that whoever lost me must be really sad cause I am such a good girl. I think that it's a pretty good deal that I was found by someone who finally loves me cause I was in pretty bad shape. I have a little something called Demodex Mange and it makes my skin look all yucky and feel real itchy. I get this icky medicine everyday to help make the bugs go away and I get special baths several times a week so that I don't itch my self silly. I am looking better every day! I am currently living with my foster mom, a real big four legged brother dog, and three kitties. I actually don't pay much attention to my big brother (he doesn';t really like to play!) and the kitties are old news. The other day, I went to lay down in my crate and one of kitties had the nerve to actually be sleeping in there! I did not mind sharing but my foster Mom took the kitty out. :) I am very calm in the house and I know that the cat food and cat poop are off limits. I listen well when I am told no and I sleep quietly all night in my warm comfy crate. Did I mention I am am a blue ribbon snuggler? I LOVE to snuggle anyone who would even let me for a minute. As far as my stats go, I am a little tiny peanut at about 40 pounds. I am still a little thin but they don't seem to think I will be more than 50 pounds when I am all back to normal. I am housebroken and crate trained. I know sit, and come every time I am called(especially if you have a treat). I get along with dogs and love to go for walks in the woods. I am looking someone that will love me even though I may not be the prettiest pooch on the website right now. I have a personality that is beautiful, and soon I will be just as lovely on the outside.
