Little Sapphire (Saphie) had a home where she was loved and lived with children, the youngest being 4. True to her breed, she is gentle and sweet with kids. She lived with 2 male pit bulls as well. Sadly, she was separated (a rather tragic situation) from her family and now needs a new home. She is so sad without a family to call her own. Saphie is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, short and stocky with a lovely copper coat and the most soft brown eyes that will melt you heart. She only weighs 35 lbs and is 2 years old, so will not get bigger. She has had training and knows many commands. She walks like a dream on the leash, no pulling at all. She is very calm. She craves human attention and needs a lot of love. She is more than happy to snuggle up on the couch...and she actually watches TV too :) She is also always up for a walk or car ride...a great companion. Currently Saphie is in a foster home with a female pit bull, another female Staffy Bull Terrier and 4 children, the youngest being 6. She is by far the best trained in the bunch! Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks. Will only adopt as an only dog or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex.
