Ace is a gorgeous 8-month-old (?) pit bull or pit bull mix (Bull Terrier?) that was abandoned during a snow storm. Ace is the type of dog that when you find out was abandoned you think “why in the world?” When we evaluated him, he was so calm and so well behaved during his temp test, he almost fell asleep with all the attention that he adored! Passed with FLYING colors! Ace is housebroken and crate trained. He knows basic commands and his foster dad thinks he’s better behaved than the 3-year-old Pit Bull that he adopted two years ago! He lives comfortably with his foster brother and sister, but is still learning how to play with his brother. Sometimes Ace has to be reminded by the resident dog who is in charge! Ace is learning quickly to be around the other dogs in the house, and after carefully interacting with the other dogs, he is now fine out in the back yard and in the house with the other dogs. Whenever he meets a stranger, Ace is sure to greet him with kisses but most importantly he reminds everyone he is a lap dog. He always wants to be cuddled with someone, human or canine. He rides awesome in the car and walks pretty well on a leash. After a tough first 8 months of life, this well mannered, adorable dog needs his forever home. He is ONE special boy!! Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks. Will only adopt as an only dog or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex. Please Apply Online Adoption Fee: $325.00.
