Meet Champagne ! And what a fitting name it is. Every day with his bubbly personality is a celebration. He even dances for his food…No kidding! It’s very cute. He is a moderate-high energy dog that loves to run and go for walks, and plays fetch beautifully. He also enjoys hiking and is a great swimmer. Champ is very bright, loves to learn and responds very well to basic commands. No doubt he has a bright future in obedience training. He is fast and powerful, and might also be able to add agility skills to his resume if his new owner is inclined to take that journey with him. Around the house he’s just a little bit mischievous, so he needs to be watched because he can get a hold of some pretty interesting things. What’s great is that he’ll release on command very willingly. Then of course there’s the necessary cuddle time. Champ loves a good firm doggy massage, and he’s very affectionate. He can settle down quickly and really enjoys his quiet time, too. Being fairly young, he does need to be reminded of boundaries, but is readily respectful when told. He does well on leash with a little help from a Halti, which works well for the time being. Champagne loves nylabones and bully sticks, and carries his new lobster tuffie-toy (“Lobby-Lobby”) around the house very proudly! He is crate and house-trained, and has demonstrated excellent behavior with other dogs while on walks in the community. Champagne is great dog with a lot of love and devotion to give, and can’t wait to find his forever home! Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks.
