Sapphire (Saphie) is a special little girl who has always known love and kindness. In her first home she lived with 2 pit bulls and 2 children. It was a good home, but a tragic event separated her from her family. We at PittieLove Rescue took her in as an emergency foster situation. Her foster family, who already has a female pit bull and a femal Staffy Bull Terrier fell head over heels in love with Sapphire. Everyone seemed to get along great, so the foster family adopted her. After some time she and one of the other females started not getting along. The heartbreaking decision had to be made that Sapphie would be happier in another home. Sapphire is a Staffy Bull Terrier, weighing in at 35 lbs. She is 3 years old so will not get any bigger. She's a gorgeous copper color with deep brown eyes that will melt your heart. She is fantastic with some dogs. She walks like a dream with a leash, very well mannered. She is a bit of a thief and will steal mittens to hide in her crate. She knows many commands and always comes when called. Sapphire thinks cats are great fun to chase, so would do best in a home without one. She has always lived with children, currently the youngest is 6 years old and Sapphire is flawless with her. She is all wiggles and happiness when she knows you're family, a terrific snuggler and all around love. Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks. Will only adopt as an only dog or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex. Please Apply Online Adoption Fee: $275.00. Includes spay/neuter, pre paid AVID micro chip and all vaccinations.
