Macy and her brother Brody were at a MA shelter. The shelter did not want these precious babies, at this critical phase in their lives, to be in a shelter environment so they contacted us. Macy is being fostered with two adult pit bulls and a four month old foster sister. She does great with all dogs she meets. The biggest bark comes out of this tiny little thing! (I don't think she realizes how small she is). That big bark can't fool anyone though! She is a sweet little pup who just wants to be loved. When she first came into the rescue, I could not walk out of the room without Macy just losing it, crying and barking. It was sad really, she was terrified that I would not come back. I think much of this has to do with being shuffled around and living in a shelter environment at such a young age. She has improved incredible amounts, although I think she will always be a velcro pup! She is never far behind me and is always checking in to make sure I'm still there. But when I leave her now, she is much calmer than she had been. She is around young children a lot and does great. She jumps right at first, as any pup would, but calms down fast. She has LOTS of energy and just loves to play, but also enjoys a good cuddle as well. She does great at night and sleeps straight through. She is not house trained, but we are working hard on this. Macy has the sweetest eyes, that make it just impossible not to fall in love with her! She has SO much love to give and is looking for a wonderful family who can give some back to this much deserving little girl! Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks. Will only adopt as an only dog or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex. Please Apply Online Adoption Fee: $325.00. Includes spay/neuter,microchip and all vaccinations.
