PittieLove Rescue, Inc. a 501c3 orgainization is an all-volunteer, foster home based rescue.

Davie is approx. 6 months old, and was left to fend for himself in MA town after his owner was arrested. After his 10 day hold at Animal Control, he is now in a loving foster home. He is living with two little mixed breed doggies, cats and his foster Mom and Dad. Davie is learning to enjoy car rides, but still needs reassurance sometimes. He is great on a leash for a pup his age, he rarely pulls, and loves to see new places. He is excellent with other dogs, and very appropriate. He is curious about the cats, but does not understand why they do not play bow back to him. Dog savvy cats would be happy to have him around. He has a great play drive, but is not out of control. He is learning fast, and has 'Sit' down pat. We are working on 'lay down' and 'leave it'. Davie is eager to please, and, for his age, very docile. He enjoys playing with water (from hose and watering can) but has not visited a lake or pond. With proper training, this is going to be the dog you take to the woods, out fishing, romping in the park and spend some days couch potatoing. Of course, he still has a whole puppy hood ahead of him!. Davie is a first class cuddle bug. His best naps involve laying on someones foot or lap Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks. Will only adopt as an only dog or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex.
