Hi, my name is Ava! I hear people say my pictures don't do me justice all the time. They think I'm so much more beautiful in person. I know, the first thing you probably looked at in my picture was my ears....but my foster Mom says I have the most adorable ears ever! They only stand up so that I can hear everything you say. I LOVE people! I don't care the size, big, small, tiny. They all have laps and I like to sit in them. I've been in my foster home for a while now and have learned lots. I can sit, stay, lay down, leave it, wait, come and even know touch. My foster Mom says I'm super smart and just love to learn. I LOVE to play too; fetch and tug are my favorites! I really don't have a favorite toy as so many can be thrown for me to chase. I have two human foster sisters who I just love to play with. They pet me and love me so much. Kids are great! I also have two pit bull foster siblings. The old guy, Mojo, doesn't like to play with me much so I mostly leave him alone, but Angel, she loves to play tug with me and she chases things with me so it's sort of a race. I like that. There are also two cats living here. I had never seen cats before coming here. They are fascinating. I'm not sure what to make of them. Sometimes I chase them and just can't control it. I don't want to hurt them, just play. They don't want to though. I have many interests; long walks, playing outside in the snow, hiking, naps, cuddling with people or dogs (I hear I'm amazing at spooning). My foster Mom says she is going to take me to a lake when it's warm enough so we can see if I like the water. It's so fun doing new things isn't it? Someday I would like a forever home. I hear they are nice...not that my foster home isn't. They love me here and treat me so well. I see how happy my foster brother and sister are though and they have their forever family....I wouldn't mind my own. If you would like to explore and have fun with me...if you love to snuggle and get kisses...if you love to walk or hang on to a toy while I tug on it...then maybe you could fill out an application and my foster Mom will call you. While I'm waiting, I'll continue to be a model pooch in my foster home. I'm in no rush...I'll wait for the right family. Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks.
