Hi, my name is Leonard aka Vinny. I am a happy 11 week old puppy, with black and white fur and big, brown eyes. I've been told that I'm good looking, handsome, cute, smart, and a good boy… I don’t know what these things mean, but the humans that say them are really nice to me. I know this is going to sound a little like bragging, but I think I'm really quite a catch. I'm looking for a human (or humans) who will love me, and take me home so that we can take care of each other for the rest of my life. I hope that my new mom and/or dad will like to exercise. I enjoy walking, snuggling, playing, learning, and loving everyone around me. I currently live in a house with my friend Phoebe; she's very hospitable beautiful female pit bull who has allowed me to share her space (we snuggle), her toys (we play tug-of-war at least once a day) and even her food with her (she gets to eat a HUGE bowl of food; I have a little one and usually finish first). My foster moms do weird things (like stick their hands in my food and take it from me right in the middle of me eating it), but they are nice enough to share it with me so I'm okay with it. They play with my paws a lot and trim my fingernails and brush my teeth... they keep saying they want me to "get used to it". I hope they aren't looking for me to return the favor! They also get super excited when I go to the bathroom outside! They don't get as excited if go in the house though... thankfully, that happens less and less infrequently every day. I overheard them saying something about being able to tell when I have to go... apparently I walk around looking like I'm trying to find something. (Between me and you, I am, I'm trying to find a good spot to go), but then they swoop in, seemingly out of nowhere, and carry me outside! Did I mention that I also live with two CATS? They’re nowhere near as attentive and playful with me as my friend Phoebe is, but I keep trying to win them over!
