Mae is a great little lady. My husband and I have fostered her for about a month and in that time I've learned a ton about her. Mae does okay with certain dogs but not all. She does fine going for leashed walks with other dogs, but would do best in a home without another dog. She does AWESOME with people and children, and would really just prefer her very own family. Mae really believes that she's a lap dog and is happy to snuggle as long as you want! Also an athlete, Mae is fast and smart! She loves training and learning new things. She also loves her toys, especially her rope toy, and would play for hours if you let her. She loves to go for walks and is trained not to pull. She is house trained, and rarely has accidents as long as we pay attention to her cues that she has to "go"! Mae is crate trained but it's not her "happy place" as it is for some dogs. Even though she has some anxiety about it, she will do as you ask- she will oblige you and go in and chew her bone. Mae is fine with cats, but just like with any puppy she should be supervised. Mae is looking for the very best home! I know her so well now, and I know how much she is longing to have a person of her own to love, that loves her too. She wants to be the light in someone's life and after all she's been through- she more than deserves it! And she will love you unconditionally in return! Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks. Will only adopt as an only dog or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex. Please Apply Online Adoption Fee: $375.00.
