Violet came into the rescue from animal control after being found as a stray in a large MA city. When Violet first came into the rescue, she was very thin but still very happy. She has put on weight and is looking much better. Violet is a happy loving puppy. She is friendly with everyone and great with children. Very excited to meet who ever comes along. Plays well with all dogs big and small. Violet is living in a foster home with two young children and two dogs. Here is what Violet has to say! I am great with the children and play with my foster four legged friends all the time. I am even living with a ferret and I don't mind her at all. I enjoy walks and playing with my toys. Love to curl up on the couch to take a nap. I just leaned how to swim with help from a couple other dogs and did pretty well. Like to go in and out the water over and over again. When I first went into my foster home, sorry to say, I had no manners! I would try to eat in all the dog bowls when it was feeding time. Would jump up on my foster family to give kisses without asking.. and would lick the food off the kids faces. Thought that was fun but I am learning quickly what is appropriate and what is not. I now eat out of my own bowl and do not jump anymore. I am allowed on the the couch only when asked. If I finish eating first I now let the other two dogs eat in peace. I've learned to sit, stay, come, lay down, and gives paw. Will be your shadow all over the house and outside in a fenced in yard. I do pretty well in my crate but would prefer to go for a car ride with you!! :) Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks.
