This girl came to us after being found as a stray in Worcester. Thanks to all at PILOT for saving this girl at the last minute and getting in touch with us! She is a gem! Meet sweet Athena, such a beautiful girl. Sparkling white coat with the most stunning pale eyes, she is a stunner. Plus she has the softest, large ears that look a little to big for her head. The irony of those great ears though is the Athena is deaf. What she lacks in that department, she far makes up for with her intelligence and ultra social, friendly personality. She loves everyone, adults, kids, and all other dogs we have introduced her to. She is so gentle while taking treats and sits nicely waiting for her meals while they are being prepared. One of her best attributes is her snuggle factor, once she is on the couch with you she is the happiest. She settles in and really does watch the TV; don’t worry closed captioning isn't expensive:) Seriously though this dog is amazing, so calm for such a young girl and and incredibly bright. She picked up the hand sign for “sit” easily, and because of her impairment she is always looking to you. So with that kind of eye contact she should be easily trained to other commands. While in line at the pet supply store a little girl just waved to say Hi and Athena went right into sit! Like I said she is amazing. She is spayed, micro chipped, and UTD on all vaccines. This dog almost has it all. The only thing missing is a loving family who has the time to devote to her so she can return that love and devotion ten fold. Adoption Restrictions: Mandatory home visit and reference checks. Will only adopt as an only dog or with a compatible dog of the opposite sex. Please Apply Online Adoption Fee: $325.00.
