Meet Mac! Mac came to us from our friends at TJO in Springfield! They rescued him from an a basement, abandoned by his owner. He was there for too long, was emaciated, dehydrated and hypothermic. They nursed him back and we are here to help him finish his recovery and on to his new forever home! Mac is about 2 months old. Mac is now in a foster home getting the important socialization he needs. He is currently living with his foster parents, their two young daughters, two dogs and a ferret. Mac LOVES the resident dogs! He's learning a lot from them about how to be a good doggy. Mac is very food motivated, so is quite quick to train. He has already learned sit in just a couple of days in his new foster home! His foster Mom is in LOVE with him! He is so good, making it through the night already with no accidents in his crate. She says he's a little bundle of energy but very well behaved and just LOVES to play with his toys. Now, a word from Mac: "Hi, I'm Mac. I had a bad start to my life being abandoned by my previous owner, but I hold NO grudges. When I greet people, it's with kisses and the waggiest little tail you've ever seen! I'm SOOOOO happy to be in a home that cares about me. I get a warm bed, LOTS of toys, food four times a day to help me gain weight back, treats and most of all LOVE. I'm still learning the ropes, but I'm learning them quickly. My two favorite toys are a huge tuffy pig and a rope toy my foster Auntie brought me. I love getting visitors and I've had a lot of them because everyone has seen my pictures and says I'm the most adorable pup ever! They all seem to love my floppy little ears I guess. That's what they say anyways. I'm enjoying my time here at my foster home while I await my forever.
