Includes spay/neuter and all vaccinations. Apple came to our rescue from a pretty bad abuse situation. If this girl could talk, I can imagine most of us couldn't bare to hear her stories. Apple was taken by animal control after she and her puppies were found very poorly cared for, living outside. Apple most certainly knows she has been rescued and is amazingly appreciative of her foster family and the things she now has. Upon arriving at her foster home, she did not know what a toy or dog bed was. A home was new to her. It is incredibly amazing, however, how well behaved and well mannered she is in a home . She caught on extremely quickly to a normal home routine. She is house trained, crate trained and has quickly learned about all the good things in life. Her four legged foster brother seemed to somehow know that Apple needed his help. He has taught her many things. For instance, Apple did not know what to do with a dog bone. Every day since the first day she came into her foster home, Tyson would bring her a dog bone. He would chew it very close to her, whining and pushing it toward her. For days, she would just watch him. Soon though, Apple started chewing on one of the bones Tyson brought her. He was ecstatic and licked her head the entire time. The next day, Apple went and got a bone out of the toy bin on her own! The progression of this little girl has been nothing short of wonderful. Although Apple did not know much about living in a home or the fun things normal doggies do, her temperament was never compromised by her past. Apple passed her temperament test with flying colors! She sweet, loving and gentle. Apple is great with other dogs and plays very calmly and respectfully. She is also living with a 6yo child, and has met many other children as well. She does amazingly with them. Apple thrives on human contact and take comfort in having humans around. She is great in her crate too though and will go in on her own to snuggle her blankets. She is wonderful on a leash and walks beside you. Apple is a TRUE gem and really deserves a family that will continue to show her comfort and compassion. She would make a wonderful addition to any family!
