Includes spay/neuter, microchip and all vaccinations. In the days before Kellie came to PittieLove her life was turned completely upside down. She was hit by a car, lost her home and family, had major surgery during which she lost her left rear leg. Then on to a loving, but new, foster home and family. With such a whirlwind of changes no one knew how Kellie would adjust to her brand new life and challenges. Kellie amazed everyone! Within minutes of her arrival at the foster home she turned into a happy wiggle worm and shared sloppy kisses with everyone. In human terms she “worked the room” and all those in it, much to everyone’s delight. And best of all she found her new BFF, a small dog named Minni who has become her companion 24/7. Her foster mom can’t say enough about her. “Kellie is one of the most gorgeous pitbulls I’ve ever had the opportunity to foster. She has both an outgoing personality along with an unusually calm demeanor for a one year old.” As the foster household has several resident dogs Kellie quickly learned to wait her turn in the treat line, gently accepting each reward when offered. The foster mom added “Kellie adores running around in the fenced-in backyard and loves playing fetch. When you first meet her you may not even notice her handicap, probably because Kellie doesn’t notice it. The loss of her leg hasn’t slowed her down a bit.” As an added bonus or two Kellie is crate, leash and house trained. She will sit quietly at the door when she needs to go outside. All she needs is a loving family and Kellie’s good to go.
