Hi, I’m Teddy! At 6 years old, I’ve spent more time in a shelter than I care to remember. I’m so grateful to my foster Mom for giving me a chance to find my forever home. She tells me I have stunning good looks and I’m a real charmer! (I don’t know what that means, but she smiles when she says it so it must be good!) One of my favorite pastimes is buckling on my harness and going for a walk to meet new friends – both people and dogs. I especially enjoy meeting female dogs who like to play with me. I think you’d agree that I make a great hiking partner. My foster Mom LOVES to give me treats while she’s teaching me new commands. So far I know “sit”, “down”, and “off”, and I’m working on mastering “wait” and “stay”. If you’d like to meet me, I’ll be happy to show you just how rewarding it is to give me treats. I’m not a big fan of cats or other small creatures, but I absolutely adore my foster canines; my foster sister is a 10 year old female pit bull and my two foster brother pit bulls are 2 and 4 years old. I’ve been told that I have a very cute, bouncy style of play, and I’m learning not to be rough when I get excited. In addition to walking, I also love to ride in the car, snuggle on the couch, swim in a lake or pool, and eat doggie ice cream! My foster Mom takes me to work sometimes, and we get to make our way around the building so that I can greet everyone. If you’re looking for a loving loyal partner, I’m your guy!
